Fresh, seasonal fruit is wonderful to decorate the layers of wedding cake.
Talk with your reception hall about serving some of the fruit with
each slice of cake when it is plated.

Some fruit will turn brown or want to run once it is cut so this may limit the
type of fruit you want to use on your cake.
Be sure to choose fruit that is in season to get the highest quality
and best possible prices.
